As you enter Casa Emma through the handcrafted iron gates and hard wood doors you will immediately be struck by the beautiful 18 foot high cane and exotic wood ceilings. You are in the Sala of the home; a cooling sanctuary from the busy streets of the city. Notice the the thick abode walls providing relief from the warm summer sun.

A large pair of 12 foot handcrafted doors offer more interior privacy and opens into the the living area where you can relax on comfortable sofas, hammocks, and rockers. Hand crafted pillars made from tropical hard woods surround the large, deep swimming pool.

Abundant light and breezes are throughout the home allowing you to enjoy colonial living in a true colonial home. The entire house is an exhibit of craftsmanship of past ages.

Adjacent to the pool is a fully equipped kitchen, provided for guests who would rather cook their meals. The kitchen bar has seating for six and the Sala dining area seats six to eight comfortably. Next to the kitchen is the sofas and tv area. The home has 2 internet providers. Cable TV, DVDs, games and pool toys are provided for your enjoyment.

The 3 well appointed bedrooms have access to air-conditioning and the high cane ceilings & fans keep the home cool year round. There are 3 bathrooms two with hot water.

An upstairs balcony with rockers and table is a favorite spot to enjoy a beverage during early cool mornings or evenings.
